Sharon is an RN living in Ohio who has led women's care groups for many years, focusing on victims of abuse. Her words show an insight to God's word, particularly as it applies to women who are eager to find comfort and healing as they seek strength versus victim-status. Her theme is HOPE. She is closely associated with churches of Christ mission work and care of orphans in Honduras.
Emily Smith graduated with a law degree from Pepperdine University last year. Now, she is pursuing a one-year internship in Southeast Asia with the International Justice Mission (IJM). Keep up with Emily's fight to provide legal service to women who are victims of human trafficking, and as she experiences daily life in a far-away land and culture.
Kevin and Tasha Spann have been accepted into the Mission Aviation Fellowship. They are currently raising funds, studying, and otherwise preparing for their assignment to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in Africa. Follow their story as they enter into this challenging work.
Beth Jinkerson has been a member of the Highland View church of Christ for nearly 30 years, and taught her first Bible class for children at age 16. This blog site focuses on telling Bible stories for all ages as well as on postings about continuing an active life of Christian service despite a life-changing disability.
