Campaigns

Knocking on a door Program Function:

Arrange for campaign and encourage participation by the congregational elements such as the Youth, Women's, and 50+. This ministry includes selecting suitable locations, establishing contacts, and working out the details for a successful campaign in keeping with the environment of the chosen location.

Local Effort

Curtis McClane preaching Program Function:

Provide staff to support the outreach through pulpit preaching and local evangelism. Ongoing activities include evangelism associated with benevolence programs, special lecture series, and webcast worship services. One special activity in this program is to conduct Nursing Home Worship Services in concert with other area churches of Christ.

Participate in Oak Ridge Area churches of Christ Cooperative effort.

Prison Outreach

Visit prisons and teach the gospel. Organize letter-writing and prayers for inmates. Provide encouragement, ongoing teaching, and fellowship. Maintain awareness of local resources available to released prisoners.
