Prayer Requests

 

 

·         Keep JAY WOODS in your prayers. He is having further testing before surgery will be scheduled.

·         Remember BETTY WOOTEN. She is recovering at home after back surgery on May 14th.

·         Remember ELLEN STEPHENSON that she will continue to heal.

·         Keep RENEE THOMAS in your prayers. She was to see a specialist last Friday about her knees but we have no update on her condition.  Pray for healing and relief of her pain.

·         HAROLD STANDEFE is home and will go back to see the doctor this week.  Continue to pray for healing.

1         Congratulations to Tom Rubright and Gail Taylor.  They are engaged to be married in June.  There will be a personal lingerie shower for Gail as they do not need any household items and are combining what they do have. It will be on Sunday, May 27th at 3pm at the Pratt home. For sizes, gift ideas or if you would like to contribute to a gift please contact Cathie Pratt, Becky Scarbrough, Cathy Smith or Eiko.

2         CHURCH IN THE PARK is THIS Sunday at Clark Center Park in Oak Ridge. It will be a POTLUCK meal and we will eat at 5:30 pm and please bring a drink to share and a lawn chair.

3        Also this Sunday, the teens will do a FUNDRAISING CAR WASH at Advanced Auto Parts in Oak Ridge beginning at 1:30 to raise money for their Summer Mission trip.

4        On Wednesday, May 30th the teens will be hosting a mission trip FUNDRAISING DINNER for everyone beginning at 5:30 in the MPR. Look for details later.

5        Anyone wishing to donate to a MONEY TREE to celebrate LAURA MITCHELL MEADOWS’ recent marriage, please give your money to Nancy Donsbach, Orma Barrows, or Alva McCulley by THIS Sunday.

6        The SUMMER SPEAKER SERIES will be on Wednesday’s, June 6th-August 29th from 6:30-7:30pm. We need helpers to work with Curtis on the meals for each of the Wednesday nights. Please see him now if you can help.

7        We need at least two or more families to work together and help with our July 4th grill out here at the building. They will need to set up the grill and tables AND do cleanup detail. Please see Curtis if you will help.
